Donna began piano lessons at seven, and an intriguing discovery emerged early in her musical journey. Instead of following the assigned lessons, she would return to her teacher with her compositions – not quite what her teacher had asked for but rather inspired by a sense of wonder and love of sound.
Her journey with words began in her teenage years when she scribbled thoughts and dreams in the margins of, well, anything. The guitar found its way into her life after college, offering a new canvas for her creativity and a fresh conduit for her emotions.
Years of wrestling with stage fright were eventually overcome by a strong desire to share her musical creations with the world. A fateful encounter set the stage and brought her debut album to life.
She feels a profound connection to the boundless magic of music - its ability to weave tales and evoke emotions that transcend age, genre, and mood. She considers herself a humble custodian of this power and feels privileged to tend its flames and guide others along the path.
